Nakshatra Research Foundation regularly conducts food distribution drives to tackle the issue of hunger and malnutrition. These programs aim to provide nutritious meals to underprivileged individuals and families who struggle to afford basic food. The distribution takes place in slums, orphanages, old-age homes, and during emergencies. Volunteers and team members work together to prepare and distribute the meals.
Special emphasis is placed on providing food that meets dietary needs, including for children, the elderly, and the sick. During festivals and holidays, we organize special food drives to bring joy to the needy. Bulk food supplies such as rice, grains, and pulses are also distributed to families. Partnerships with local businesses, donors, and volunteers strengthen our capacity to reach more people.
Our programs are planned to minimize food wastage while addressing hunger in the most effective way possible. These initiatives also focus on educating communities about balanced diets and food safety. During natural disasters or emergencies, food packets are prepared and delivered swiftly to affected areas. Nakshatra aims to ensure that no one goes hungry in the communities we serve.
